Proxy Chaining

Proxy chaining is the practice of routing your internet traffic through multiple proxy servers in sequence before it reaches the destination website. Instead of just one proxy, you create a chain of proxies, which hides your real IP address more effectively.

How Proxy Chaining Works

Normally, your traffic path looks like: You → Proxy → Website.

With proxy chaining, it looks like: You → Proxy 1 → Proxy 2 → Proxy 3 → Website.

This chain of proxies makes tracking and identification much harder.

Benefits of Proxy Chaining

  • Increases online privacy and anonymity
  • Hides your real IP address behind several layers
  • Helps bypass restrictions and censorship
  • Adds an extra layer of security

Limitations of Proxy Chaining

  • Slower connection speed due to multiple hops
  • More complex configuration
  • Not 100% foolproof if one proxy leaks data
In short: Proxy chaining is like wearing several masks online - each mask (proxy) adds a layer of protection, but also some extra weight.

Kameleo and Proxy Chaining

Kameleo integrates seamlessly with proxy chaining, also letting you assign different proxies to each browser profile for maximum anonymity. By combining advanced fingerprint masking with multi-layer proxy routing, Kameleo makes profiles harder to track.
