Kameleo v1.9.7 - Mobile Profile Saving

We are working hard on releasing Kameleo 2 but before that, we are just releasing a bugfix package with an experimental feature: Saving and loading the data of the mobile profiles.

If you use the mobile profiles, please update the Kameleo Mobile App as well. You can find it on our downloads page.

Mobile profile data saving in Kameleo v1.9.7

This experimental feature has been added to Kameleo Mobile users. In order to make this work, you will have to update the Kameleo Mobile App as well.

Loading mobile data when opening a profile

This new feature is saving your data when you close a mobile profile. All the

  • cookies,
  • tabs,
  • history,
  • favorites,

will be saved to your .kameleo file. Once you load the profile back they will be loaded back to your Kameleo Mobile Browser.

Fixes in Kameleo v1.9.7

  • Faster browsing with Chrome: To support fluent browsing we updated the Kameleo Chrome Browser so you will have a faster browsing experience.
  • Fixes on UI and on websites: A couple of issues were reported by our community that has been fixed.

How to update

When you start Kameleo it will offer to update your software. Download and install it and you can enjoy the new features of Kameleo. If it doesn’t start to download try to update manually, by launching updater.exe from the program folder.

Please also update the Mobile App.

Kameleo 2 is coming soon

We are still supporting Kameleo 1.9.x versions but in the meantime, we are also developing the new version: Kameleo 2.

  • Kameleo 2 will have an even stronger browser fingerprint changing technology
  • It will support full browser automation

Beta testing Kameleo 2

If you are team users and your company is using at least 3 Kameleo accounts, you can apply for free Kameleo 2 Beta testing. Please write a support ticket with at least 3 of your Kameleo account’s username. Also, let us know what is your use case with Kameleo. Then we will be able to provide a Beta account for testing the new version. Please include the technology you use, supported programming languages, business case, everything that might be interesting.
