In this latest Kameleo release, we fixed the issue related to the “Failed to start ProxyServer” error message. And also fixed a couple of issues occurring on some websites.
Please note, if you still see the error message: “Fatal error, Failed to start ProxyServer”. Try to whitelist the Kameleo program folder on your antivirus software. Also, try to reinstall Kameleo to another location, something like C:\User\<username>\Kameleo. In this article in our knowledge base, you will find more troubleshooting. If you still couldn’t solve the issue, please contact our support center.
Fixes in Kameleo v1.9.6
- Fix issue with Failed to start Proxy Server: Just install the new version, that will add Kameleo’s program folder to the Windows Defender’s exclude folder. If you need more help, contact our support team.
- Fix compatibility issue on multiple sites: On eBay during changing account type to business some users had issues, however, this update will fix it. This update modifies the parsing algorithm for each page, so it eliminates the compatibility issues with a lot of other websites as well.
How to update
When you start Kameleo it will offer to update your software. Download and install it and you can enjoy the new features of Kameleo. If it doesn’t start to download try to update manually, by launching updater.exe from the program folder.
