Kameleo BETA v1.5.6+ – Auto Timezone spoofing

Last update had some glitches with the browser running without selenium on Windows 7. Good news is that we fixed everything and added a utility to spoof timezone automatically.

What’s new in Kameleo BETA v1.5.6+?

In this update we fix all the problems that occurred during the previous beta relating to the feature by disabling selenium driver. You read more about it in our previous article.

And in our knowledgebase.

So in this update there is an option to turn of Selenium Web Driver in the Application Settings. By disabling the web driver we expect Kameleo to provide an even more natural browser fingerprint while still spoof it to fully match the selected profile.

More info in our knowledgebase.

We also added a feature that will help you spoof timezone automatically. We noticed that it is a hard business to find the correct timezone for a location dealing with the Daylight Saving Time and everything else. So our new utility can be found in the Tools menu, and it will help you to convert you IP address to a Timezone.

Features of Kameleo v1.5.6+

  • Optionally disable Selenium Driver: Disable the Selenium Driver in the application settings to get a more natural browser fingerprint to prevent CAPTCHA.
  • Auto timezone spoofing: Convert any IP address to a timezone.
  • Fixes:
    • Browser starting without Selenium Driver on Windows7 works.
    • Working with multiple profiles without Selenium with Firefox works as well.

What is the Kameleo Beta?

Developing a browser fingerprint spoofing tool like Kameleo is a hard business. We are facing difficult obstacles while we are fighting for online privacy. It usually takes long time to publish a fully functioning stable version of Kameleo. To keep the technical enthusiastic members of our community up to date we decided to publish our dev branch.

This way you will be able to download a Beta version of Kameleo more often. We will always notify you here when a new beta version is available. We only publish a Kameleo Beta version when we find it stable enough for operation but not ready for a full release.

We call Kameleo Beta the latest version. You can refer to it with a ‘+’ sign like: Kameleo v1.5.2+ BETA. It means the Beta version after Kameleo v1.5.2.

What we expect

We expect our community to try out the latest version of Kameleo and provide us some feedback in support tickets.

We hope that every BETA will be useful but we cannot guarantee that your work will be glitchless with it.
